1740–1792
From an ancient noble family. He participated in the Seven Years' War (1756-1763). In 1765 he is mentioned as a captain attached to the Land Noble Cadet Corps. He participated in the Russian-Turkish War (1768-1774). From 1773 he was Lieutenant Colonel, Chief Inspector in the Naval Cadet Corps. Major General (1783). In 1784-1787 he was the governor of Kostroma vicegerency.
